Kartanohotelli Jouhkolan Hovi Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a tranquil old manor on Tohmajärvi Lake, just off the Tohmajärvi - Kitee road. Built in 1764 by Gabriel Walleniuksen, bailiff to the Crown. (See the carved foundation stone.) We cater for parties and other organised events (Vegetarian Cuisine Courses, Hunting and Fishing Trips, etc.) to order; for groups of over 20 people.
Ellila Farmhouse and Organic homestead is close to the border, just off the Tohmajärvi - Niirala road. It sits in a secluded spot in characteristic Carelian Ridge and Forest surroundings. Perfect fishing at this secluded location on the shore of Suuri-Onkamo lake. Child friendly environment, south facing, open shore with covered Bar-B-Q. wood fired waterside Sauna and boats for use. Majatalo Sinilintu Bed and Breakfast accommodation on the banks of Jänisjoki River in 4 double rooms. Also pitches for Caravans and tents and a number of small cabins. Reijo Koskelon lomamökit Two, cosy, summer and winter use log cabins on an isthmus between Suuri-Onkamo and Särkijärvi Lakes. On the lake shore, close to the Sintsitie road in Onkamo. Jänisjoen tuvat Accommodation on the Jänisjoki River in spacious flatlets. Each one is about 56m2 consisting of 2 bedrooms with separate beds, ample living room, kitchen, shower and toilet with enough bed space for up to 6 people.
